More heat and sun on the way for Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - The mercury is set to heat up again as the weekend brings more temperatures in the high 20s and lots of sunshine.

Environment Canada is calling for temperatures above the seasonal normal of 21 Celsius, with a high of 24 C today, May 13. Saturday the temperature is expected to be slightly warmer, with a high of 26 C forecast, and then Sunday is expected to hit 29 C.

Overnight lows are expected to reach 11 C or 12 C this weekend, several degrees above the season normal low temperature of 8 C.

Sunny skies start the day today, followed by a mix of sun and cloud in the afternoon. The rest of the weekend is expected to be sunny.
