TORONTO - Chris (The Menace) Clements is replacing the injured Claudio Silva and will face welterweight Nordine Taleb at UFC186 in Montreal next month.

Silva has been sidelined by a broken foot.

Clements (12-5 with one no contest) is coming off a first-round knockout of Vik Grujic. The 39-year-old from Chatham, Ont., has won two of his four UFC fights with one loss and one no-contest.

Taleb (10-2) was born in France but fights out of Montreal. His UFC resume features wins over Li Jingliang and Grujic.

The main event April 25 at the Bell Centre pits flyweight champion Demetrious (Mighty Mouse) Johnson against Japanese contender Kyoji Horiguchi.
