Israeli media reports death of former Israeli Prime Minster Ariel Sharon at age 85

JERUSALEM - Israeli media is reporting that former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who has been in a coma since a debilitating stroke eight years ago, has died at 85.

The hospital where he has been receiving treatment will hold a news conference shortly.
