Mary Ann Gale, first female VP at Proctor & Gamble, to address Michigan Women's Commission

MUSKEGON, Mich. - The first female vice-president for household products giant Proctor & Gamble Co. is the keynote speaker at the next meeting of the Michigan Women's Commission.
Mary Ann Gale will address the commission at 2 p.m. Monday at the Muskegon Holiday Inn.
The meeting will focus on the commission's efforts to provide information on funding options for women-owned businesses. It's open to the public.
Gale is a Michigan State University graduate who became Proctor & Gamble's first female plant manager and then the Cincinnati-based company's first female vice-president. She has worked for the company in North America and Asia.
Gale retired in 2008 and wrote the book, "Running for Office: Getting Yourself Elected to the Career You Really Want."
