Companies reporting:

Pembina Pipeline Ltd. (TSX:PPL) Down one cent to $46.88. Pembina Pipeline Corp. says it is going ahead with its joint venture with Kuwait's Petrochemical Industries Co. to build a $4.5-billion integrated propane dehydrogenation plant and polypropylene upgrading facility in Alberta. Pembina's share will be $2.5 billion including a 50 per cent interest in the joint venture, which will own the plants, and a 100 per cent stake in the supporting facilities. The facility will be located adjacent to Pembina's Redwater fractionation complex and will consume about 23,000 barrels per day of propane.

Canadian Pacific Railway Co. (TSX:CP). Up 71 cents to $267.82. The Federal Court of Appeal has upheld a ruling that Canadian Pacific Railway Co. failed to provide adequate rail service to Univar Canada, one of the country's biggest chemical distributors, after the railway chose not to repair a Vancouver bridge damaged by fire. The court agreed with a 2017 decision from Canada's transportation regulator that found CP Rail had breached its service obligations when it opted to hold off on expensive repairs and bar traffic on its bridge for years. The Marpole Bridge, which connects Vancouver to the island suburb of Richmond, has provided the only direct rail link to Univar's facility since it opened in 1968.
