Man with knife arrested at Kamloops school

A man known to police refused to leave a Kamloops school last month while carrying a knife.

Samuel Robert Theodore Moller, 35, was already on court conditions which included not to be at a school or playground, according to Kamloops RCMP.

“Police arrested the suspect and in doing so, located a knife,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in a news release.

Moller was at a McGill Road school on Sept. 23, around 8:25 a.m. when police arrested him.

He was found guilty of breaching release orders less than two weeks earlier, and is currently already facing mischief and weapons charges from Sept. 6, according to court records.

He's scheduled to appear in court today, Oct. 6, for those charges and an additional four charges stemming from his arrest at the school.

Those include mischief, possession of a weapon and two charges for breaching his conditions, according to court records.

Moller was released again after a Sept. 26 bail hearing.
