Kelowna RCMP are investigating following the death of an adult male in a single-vehicle collision that took place last night.
The collision happened just before 10:30 p.m., Oct. 25, in the 3700-block of Spiers Road.
Kelowna RCMP said in a media release that the vehicle, a blue Chevrolet, went off the road and down a large embankment. The adult male was declared dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old male passenger was taken to hospital by B.C. Emergency Health Services and is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries.
The scene of the collision was closed for several hours and investigators are currently determining what led to the collision. The B.C. Coroners Service is also conducting an investigation into the death.
Neither the B.C. Coroners Service or the Kelowna RCMP have released the name of the deceased.
