PENTICTON - An elderly man fell to his death from the balcony of an assisted living residence in Penticton yesterday.

Penticton RCMP spokesperson Const. James Grandy said in a media release a man fell from the third-storey balcony of his suite in the Concorde Assisted Living residence on Skaha Lake Road in Penticton at approximately 4:30 p.m. yesterday, June 6.

Emergency crews pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Grandy says the B.C. Coroners Service is investigating, however the death does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
