Tips from the public helped police identify and arrest one of the suspects caught on camera, apparently stealing lottery tickets at the Petro Canada located at 395 Glenmore Rd., says Kelowna RCMP Const. Kris Clark.
A 29-year-old man from Fort St. John was arrested Monday night and faces potential charges of theft under $5,000. He has been released on a promise to appear in court.

KELOWNA - A pair of thieves might be hoping crime pays off after making away with a bunch of lottery tickets Friday night.
The theft took place at the Petro Canada located at 395 Glenmore Rd. Two men went into the store and while one distracted the clerk the other took an undisclosed number of lottery tickets.
The two men, captured on video surveillance, made no attempt to hide their identies and police say they don't think they're from the area.
