Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

The Vernon SPCA's Pet of the Week is Buddy. He is a sweet senior who is looking for his forever home.

VERNON - Buddy might be missing a few teeth but that won't stop him from chewing his way into your heart.

This little Miniature Schnauzer and Shih Tzu is a little rascal, according to the Vernon & District Shelter. He is a sweet senior that is looking for a retirement home to live out the rest of his days loving you.

When Buddy arrived at the shelter he had bad teeth so, he went to the dentist. Now, he has few teeth left but that hasn't stopped him from eating. He is chubby and needs to lose a few pounds.  Buddy is a little overweight and will need a weight loss plan in consultation with a veterinarian in his new home, according to his pet profile.

Buddy is not only a food glutton, he is also a glutton for love and will stand on his back legs and paw at you for it.

This chunky little dog is nervous on his own so, his idea home would have guardians around him often. He prides himself on being a lap dog and is always ready to get his belly rubbed.

If you have the time and heart for this handsome senior boy then please inquire with a staff member at the Vernon SPCA. He is almost 12 years old, however, his has the time and love to commit to a forever home and is just waiting for you.
