This handsome hound was brought in to the B.C. SPCA Vernon shelter from dog control.

Gilbert is a super happy-go-lucky boy.

He is very playful and silly. He loves to play fetch and will even return the ball to you.

Gilbert is still a young boy and would do well in a home that could continue some basic obedience training. He does already know a few commands such as sit, come and fetch but would love to learn many more tricks and commands in a new home.

He does not do well with other dogs so would do better in a home with no other pets.

It is recommended that his new guardian walk him on a gentle leader or front clip harness as he can pull hard while on leash.

If you are looking for a happy, handsome hound look no further.

Please inquire with staff for further details. Just refer to Gilbert's Animal ID number 394671.
