KAMLOOPS - This kitty was gushing with purrs when she was rescued.
Leia did not have the best start to life. She was rescued from a large cat colony.
A media release says the shelter was surprised to find that instead of being fearful she was cuddly from the start. She stole their hearts.
As she did not have a good quality of life or diet as a kitten Leia is quite small though she is growing. When she came in she had an upper respiratory virus and is undergoing treatment. Soon she will be ready to go.
She is expected to flourish in a home with a good diet, care and lots of love.
Leia will likely do well in a multi-cat home.
For more information about Leia contact the staff at the Kamloops SPCA. Her animal ID number is 460023.
Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
