Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS - Winston came into the care of the Kamloops & District SPCA when his previous owner was moving and not able to bring him.

Unsure of all the changes in his life Winston was quite shy at first, though he has started to become more comfortable and enjoys attention. A quiet, calm home would be best for Winston, with a guardian who can help continue building his confidence and comfort with humans. A home without young children would be best for Winston, as too much activity and noise can be overwhelming.

Winston seems to get along with other cats, but slow introductions are necessary between new and existing pets to ensure everyone is safe and comfortable.

Big, hyper dogs would definitely scare Winston, so he would need many places to get away and relax out of reach of dogs. Winston would appreciate being given a small space of his own in the beginning, otherwise he may end up hiding somewhere and it will be hard to socialize and get him used to the new home.

Winston's Animal ID is 426936.

Visit the Kamloops Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
