KAMLOOPS - This summer, members of the group "No Straight Lines" plan to deliver a live performance on the topic of homelessness.
The group, made up of community agencies, organizations, concerned citizens, and volunteers all share the same goal of ending homelessness in the city.
To prepare, group facilitators will collect stories from community members who have endured homelessness or have been close to experiencing it. Once stories have been collected, facilitators will craft a presentation
The group name No Straight Lines is based on the thought that the road to homelessness is not a straight path - a different one for everyone. Group members hope to showcase this concept through an acting performance.
The performance will take place at the Stagehouse Theatre on Tranquille.
