KAMLOOPS - The Thompson Nicola Regional District’s Library System is hosting two free financial literacy workshops in October focusing on options for saving for education.
The first workshop goes Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the downtown Kamloops Library from noon to 1 p.m. The same talk will be repeated at the North Kamloops Library on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
You want to do all you can to provide your children and grandchildren with opportunities to succeed — to afford the college or university of their choice, follow the career they dream about and attain maximum earning power.
A post-secondary education will undeniably help them get there.
In these seminars, hosted by Cam Rauschenberger from Investors Group, participants will learn about many smart education savings ideas to expand their children’s future educational prospects, while paying particular attention to Registered Education Savings Plans.
The workshops are free but space is limited. Please contact the Kamloops Library at 250-372-5145 for more information.
