If you have travelled through Kelowna’s orchard district in East Kelowna, you will have passed by an old red hall and you probably felt a warm vibe. The East Kelowna Hall has been the hub of the East Kelowna farming community for 80 years and is a piece of local history. Thanks for the support of the community and many fundraising initiatives like this one led by one of its local champions Kathy Shawchuk, the hall lives on and continues as a farmer’s market venue and gathering place for celebrations.
