Garage sale shoppers in the Okanagan and Kamloops are sure to find treasures while browsing multiple tables in these larger, one-stop shop community sales events this coming weekend.

Lakeview Heights in West Kelowna is holding its first Annual Community Garage Sale on Saturday, May 28, and over 20 houses are participating.

The sale will be held at personal homes in the neighbourhood from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The community surrounds the Westside Wine Trail so wine lovers can add some wine tastings to their shopping experience.

A list of addresses can be found here and there is still time to register your address to be part of the fun.

“We look forward to seeing shoppers come out,” said organizer Rosanne Ting-Mak Brown. “A few of us were talking about doing this garage sale a few weeks ago and it has continued to grow as more houses are participating. It is a great way to get the neighbourhood together.”

A large multi-family strata garage sale is taking place in Penticton on 148 Roy Avenue on Saturday, May 28 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be household, kitchen and garage items, purses, shoes and giveaway tables.
