Kole Lind named WHL Player of the Week

KELOWNA - Kelowna Rockets forward Kole Lind has been named the WHL Player of the Week for the week of January 30th to February 5th.

Lind put up 3 assists in an 8-2 Rockets victory on February 1st against the Calgary Hitmen.

He then followed that up with two goals in a 3-2 victory over the Prince George Cougars on February 3rd.

The next night he had a goal and two assists versus the Cougars in the Rockets 5-1 win.

Lind amassed a total of three goals and five assists for eight points in three games this week.

You can catch Lind and the rest of the Rockets when they take on another B.C. division rival Wednesday night in Kamloops.

Kelowna will return home on Friday, February 10th when the Vancouver Giants are in town, with puck drop going at 7:05pm.
