The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Prince George Cougars 4-3 on Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, winning its second straight game this weekend against WHL BC Division rivals.

Tomas Soustal scored the game winning goal in the third period, as four different Rockets hit the scoresheet and Jackson Whistle returned to the net to earn the win.

The Rockets led 2-1 after the first period and 3-1 after two, before Prince George got within a goal in the third period. Soustal's sixth of the season came off a nice feed from Rourke Chartier and gave the Rockets the win.

Nick Merkley had a goal and an assist while Justin Kirkland and Dillon Dube also scored the Rockets, who improved to 31-6-3-0 on the season with the win.

Kelowna is back in action on Wednesday night when they host another WHL BC Division rival in the Vancouver Giants.
