KELOWNA - After a foot chase, police in Kelowna have arrested a man wanted on several outstanding warrants.

Kelowna RCMP tracked down 52-year-old Cal Douglas Little yesterday, Jan. 14, who had been wanted on multiple arrest warrants related to robbery, firearms and drug related offences.

Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey says in a news release police had turned to the public for assistance in finding Little in late December.

“Our officers were actively investigating tip information from the public, when an individual believed to be Little was spotted running northbound along Ethel Street,” O'Donaghey says. “RCMP converged on the area and engaged in a foot pursuit, which ended in an alleyway adjacent to Cameron Park where that male was taken into police custody.”

Police have since confirmed the man to be Little and he is being held in custody awaiting a court appearance.
