KELOWNA - The Mounties are asking for help tracking down an armed robbery suspect.

Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said in a press release police are looking for a white male, roughly 5 foot 7 inches tall alleged to have robbed the Subway restaurant at Gordon and Lawrence Avenue on December 7.

Police say the suspect entered the store around 9:30 p.m. and produced a gun, demanding cash before running away to the north west. Police say he was wearing dark pants and shoes with a black hoodie. The female employee was not harmed.

RCMP are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact Const. Steve McBride at 250-470-6396.
