KELOWNA - Police are still trying to identify a shoplifting suspect who pulled a knife to get away from grocery store staff in Kelowna last month.
Investigators have released two additional images of the suspect in hopes someone recognizes him.
RCMP received a report of a theft committed at the Safeway at the 2300 block of Highway 97 in Kelowna on Dec. 13. Staff reported seeing the man concealing raw meat on his person, and when they confronted him he pulled out a knife and fled on foot.
Staff members followed the suspect until they lost sight of him near Underhill Street. Police found no trace of the suspect.
He is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 6' tall who was wearing a grey baseball cap, a dark coloured hoodie, a pair of black shoes with white soles and baggy pants. He was seen carrying a black bag.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
