Kelowna RCMP close roads after hit-and-run and assault
Kelowna RCMP made an arrest after a hit-and-run and assault, and is asking people to avoid the area.
Police were called to a vehicle hit-and-run and assault in the 1900-block of Enterprise Way around 1 p.m. today, July 4, according to a press release from police.
Officers arrested a suspect on Glenmore Road and the investigation is ongoing.
RCMP closed Glenmore Road in both directions between Shanks Road and Janet Road in Lake Country. Police are asking people to steer clear of the area until further notice.
Police said more details won’t be released at the moment, but there's no danger to public safety.
