Kelowna police looking for hit and run driver

KELOWNA - A woman is still in Kelowna General Hospital after she was hit by a vehicle on Sunday.

The woman was found unconscious by a security guard in a ditch near the corner of Ethel and Street and Lawson Avenue on Feb. 21, according to an RCMP news release.

Police say she may have walked there from Bernard Avenue. She had several broken bones and other injuries.

The vehicle that hit her will show damage and RCMP are asking the driver come forward.

If you were the driver of this vehicle, or you have any information that may assist police in their investigation, you are urged to contact Const. Katherine Link of the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300. Or remain completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net.
