KELOWNA - Kelowna firefighters extinguished a serious kitchen fire this morning.

Fire crews were called to a home on Nelson Place at around 11:45 a.m. today, June 28, and firefighters arrived to see smoke coming out the front entrance, according to a media release.

Firefighters entered and extinguishing the extensive kitchen fire, which caused smoke damage throughout the home in addition to heavy fire damage in the kitchen.
