Ballet Kelowna
Council received a presentation of Ballet Kelowna’s Annual Report. Highlights include a new business plan, including recruitment of a new Artistic Director, strengthening earned income and investing in new audiences.

Tourism Kelowna
Council received a presentation of Tourism Kelowna’s Annual Report. Highlights include events such as the Wine Country Half Marathon and winning the bid for the 2014 Western Canadian Bantam Hockey Championships.

Civic Award Finalists
Council received a report from staff about the 39th Annual Civic and Community Award finalists. For a full list of the 17 categories and associated finalists, visit kelowna.ca/residents. Tickets for the awards night held on May 1 will go on sale March 17, 2014, and are available by phoning 250-469-8811.
