Kamloops RCMP taking precautions after threat found at high school

FILE PHOTO

KAMLOOPS - There will be limited entry into and out of a Kamloops high school today after a threat was found written on a bathroom mirror.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a news release the written threat was found on a mirror in a bathroom at Westsyde Secondary School today, Sept. 18. She does not say what the threat said.

Shelkie says RCMP school liaison officers are at the high school as a precaution.

Classes are still in session, and both school officials and RCMP investigators are trying to figure out who wrote the threat on the mirror.
