KAMLOOPS — Police in Kamloops are searching for a male and female suspect after two businesses were broken into yesterday morning.

Police were called to Wine Kitz and West Coast Beauty yesterday, March 12, at approximately 4 a.m. at 1150 Hillside Dr., according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP say the two businesses, located in the same building, had their front doors compromised and the suspects were able to gain entry.

“Some cash was missing from both of the businesses,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in the release.

Changes Hair Studio, also nearby, had the lock on the front door broken but police believe the suspects did not gain entry.

“Surveillance shows two suspects, a male and a female,” Shelkie says.

Both were wearing dark clothing and were driving a dark-coloured SUV.

Anyone with information on the two suspects should call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
