KAMLOOPS - After a violent home invasion at a North Shore residence, Kamloops RCMP are asking for anyone who might have information to come forward and speak with police.

On Sunday, May 26, just before 4 a.m. police were called to a residence in the 600-block of Carson Crescent, according to an RCMP media release.

Surveillance video shows a newer GMC 2500 diesel truck arrive at the home. Police say the truck had a tidy tank in the back and front grill chrome covers. Three men then got out of the truck and were all wearing gloves and had their faces covered. One man was wearing a hoody with the words "chosen few" written on the back.

One of the men was carrying a sledge hammer and the other two appeared to be carrying firearms as they entered the home, police say.

Several minutes later, three suspects emerged from the house, got back into their truck and left heading towards Lilac Avenue.

One male victim from the residence was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the attack was targeted.

Anyone with information should call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Kamloops Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
