Kamloops RCMP arrested a 32-year-old Kelowna man last night in connection to a stolen truck.
Police received a report of a stolen truck at around 10:05 p.m. yesterday, Oct. 18, according to an RCMP press release.
Officers followed the truck from 8 Street to Lac Du Bois Road.
RCMP then used a police dog to track, locate and arrest the suspect.
“The suspect is known to police and is being held in-custody with charge recommendations put forth for consideration as part of the assessment and approval process,” said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.
The Kelowna man is supposed to appear in court today.
