Kamloops Minor Baseball announces platinum sponsor

KAMLOOPS - Kamloops Minor Baseball is pleased to announce Sussex Insurance as the Association’s Platinum Sponsor. The partnership will see Sussex Insurance provide KMBA with $15,000 over three years.

“Sussex Insurance has supported KMBA for over six years and we are happy to have them on board for three more,” said KMBA President Chris Balison.

“It is this kind of community support that allows our baseball programs to be the most affordable youth sport in Kamloops,” Balison adds.

One of the major initiatives of Sussex Insurance is to support minor baseball programs throughout British Columbia. Sussex Insurance recently partnered with KMBA to develop the Sussex Insurance Centre, the first indoor baseball training facility outside the Lower Mainland.

“Sussex Insurance is a community-based organization that believes in supporting the communities it serves,” said Kent Taylor of Sussex Insurance

As a Platinum sponsor, Sussex Insurance will boost all programs delivered by KMBA from the grass roots development in the youngest divisions to the summer season all-star teams.

This July, the Sussex Insurance All-Star Tournament will see 28 teams from across B.C. and Alberta descend on McArthur Island for KMBA’s annual event.  The tournament is so popular, this year it was full before the season even got underway.
