Kamloops man facing charges for committing crimes at downtown retail location

Kamloops man taken into custody for robbery and carrying imitation weapon.

A Kamloops man is under arrest for robbery and using an imitation firearm after a police investigation that started in late October.

Police responded to reports of a robbery involving what appeared to be a firearm at a retail location on the 200-block of Victoria Street around 5:24 p.m., Oct. 22, according to an RCMP media release.

The suspect was released the following day pending the investigation’s conclusion.

On January 19, 2022, charges were sworn against Ronald Anthony Kuz, 70, of Kamloops. RCMP said. 

His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 24, 2022.
