Kamloops RCMP sent multiple officers to a Sahali gas station after a weekend armed robbery, but they couldn't find the suspect.

Police were called to the Super Save gas station on Summit Drive around 9 p.m. Sunday, April 30, where the female suspect produced a handgun, according to an RCMP news release.

The suspect left with "items" and cash before taking off on foot.

"Multiple officers responded to the area, including the police dog service unit, but unfortunately the suspect was not located," Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.

The suspect has a tattoo on her lower back and on the outside of her left hand, along with a wedding band. She was covering her face and wore a beige cap, cream-coloured shirt and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.

“Police are sharing images of the suspect with the public to help further the investigation. Maybe you saw someone wearing similar clothing earlier that day, or maybe you saw the suspect as she fled the scene on foot, ditching her ball cap nearby. Whatever the circumstances may be, please reach out and let us know," Evelyn said.

Anyone with information, including any video or images that may have captured someone matching the suspect’s description, can contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-14873.
