Rick Button and Savi Baychoo, owners of Jugo Juice’s H2O location, recently toured the YMCA’s Little Scholars Playing to Learn Childcare & Preschool Centre where they saw firsthand the impact of their donation on the community.
“Our business prides itself on providing the healthiest options possible and it is always great to see that there are organizations like the YMCA who share this same goal,” explains Baychoo. “Knowing that our donation is going towards providing children, like those attending Little Scholars, access to healthy activities, nutrition and learning in our local community is a great feeling.”
In 2013, the YMCA of Okanagan was able to assist 178 families in receiving affordable childcare, which wouldn’t be possible without generous donations such as this.
