iNPHOTOS: Stake Lake ice races

KAMLOOPS - About 30 kilometres outside of Kamloops the smell of motor oil and the roar of engines filled the air during the annual Stake Lake ice races.

Racers and spectators were treated to sunny, blue skies and 2 Celsius temperatures on Sunday, Jan. 29. Later in the afternoon, the wind started to gust, but that didn't slow the show down.

The Greater Kamloops Motorcycle Association organizes the annual ice races.
