Impaired driver identified after burger stop

A 38 year old Vaseux Lake woman was charged with impaired driving after being caught with three times the legal alcohol limit after driving through the Triple Os drive through in Penticton last week.

PENTICTON - A 38 year old Vaseux Lake resident faces criminal code charges for the impaired operation of a motor vehicle last week.

Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says an impaired driver was reported after going through the White Spot Triple O’s drive through on Eckhardt Avenue around 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.1.

The female driver, who was subject to a previously issued Immediate Roadside Prohibition, was found to be three times over the legal blood alcohol limit and was arrested.

Her rental vehicle was also impounded.
