Hot weather disappears for the last week of June in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - The last week of June heading into the Canada Day long weekend will see a mixed bag of weather in Kamloops.

Environment Canada is calling for showers or thunderstorms in Kamloops today, June 25, with up to 10 mm of rain near the thunderstorms. The wind will become west at 20 km/h this afternoon with the temperature steady around 18 Celsius.

Cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms this evening before it partially clears overnight with a low of 11 C.

The forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud tomorrow, a brisk in the afternoon and a high of 22 C. Expect a sunny day on Wednesday with a high of 24 C.

The clouds return on Thursday and Friday with forecast highs of 24 C both days.

The Canada Day long weekend forecast looks pretty good so far, with a mix of sun and cloud and highs around 25 C forecast.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 26 and lows of 13.
