Hot temperatures for Kamloops as summer gets underway

KAMLOOPS – Welcome to summer, Kamloops, it’s going to get hot.

Today, June 22, we’ll see a day full of sun, according to Environment Canada, with highs of 25 Celsius. This will be the coolest day for the next little while. Overnight we’ll continue to have clear skies with lows around 10 C.

Tomorrow it’ll be even warmer, as we can expect a high around 30 C and sunny skies again. In the evening it should drop to around 12 C.

Saturday will be sunny yet again, with a high of 34 C. Overnight temperatures will drop to 16 C.

Sunday will likely be the hottest day of the year so far, with a high of 37 C currently forecast. The overnight low should be warm as well at 20 C.

Next week the sun and heat continues with temperatures predicted to be in the high-20s to mid-30s.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 26 C and lows of 12 C.
