PENTICTON – One of the most eggcellent events is returning to the Penticton Community Centre this Easter.
The Community Centre is proud to host the Perfect Easter Party on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to noon, offering all boys and girls who hop down to the event a chance to enjoy a sweet treat.
The Perfect Easter Party is presented in partnership with Par-T-Perfect. The two-hour event is suitable for children three to 10 years. Children under seven years must be accompanied by an adult. There will be face painting, balloon animals, craft stations and inflatables for the kids to play on. And of course a visit from the Easter Bunny!
Tickets are $7 per child, and can be purchased at the Community Centre. Proceeds go to the South Okanagan Children’s charity to help kids participate in recreation programs.
The Penticton Community Centre will also be open special hours for the Easter weekend. On Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21, the centre will be open between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Regular centre users should note a few other schedule and programming changes:
- Pool (April 18-21): All pools and features are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; diving boards are open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Aquatic fitness (April 18, 19 and 21): Splash will be at 10:45 to11:30a.m.
- Adult drop-in sports:
