KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Kale Kessy had two goals and three assists and Tim Bozon scored twice and chipped in with two assists as the Kamloops Blazers downed the visiting Spokane Chiefs 7-4 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.
Colin Smith scored once and added four assists for the Blazers (34-15-5) while Jordan Thomson and JC Lipon each scored once.
Mitch Holmberg scored three goals for the Chiefs (30-19-2), who are winless in three games, and Mike Aviani had three assists.
Blake Gal had a goal and an assist to round out Spokane's offence.
Cole Chevedave made 24 saves for the win as Eric Williams picked up the loss after allowing five goals on 28 shots through 41 minutes of action. Garret Hughson stopped 8-of-10 shots in 19 minutes of relief.
Kamloops went 3 for 6 on the power play while Spokane scored once on five chances with the man advantage.
