CALGARY - The Calgary Flames acquired centre Nick Shore from the Ottawa Senators on Monday prior to the NHL trade deadline.
In return, the Senators received a 2019 seventh-round pick.
Shore, a Denver native, had an assist in six games this season with Ottawa. Shore was taken in the third round, No. 82 overall, of the 2011 NHL draft by the Los Angeles Kings.
The six-foot-one, 200-pound Shore has 14 goals and 36 assists in 227 career NHL games.
