Ottawa Senators, Colorado Avalanche complete minor-league deal

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators have acquired forward Jean-Christophe Beaudin from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for forward Max McCormick.

The Senators are assigning the 21-year-old Beaudin to their American Hockey League affiliate in Belleville, Ont. The six-foot-two, 187-pound native of Longueuil, Que., has six goals and seven assists in 42 AHL games with Colorado this season.

McCormick, 26, has split the 2018-19 campaign between Ottawa and Bellleville. He has 12 points in 19 games with Belleville and one point in 14 outings with Ottawa. The Avalanche also are assigning McCormick to the AHL.
