Vancouver Canucks recall defenceman Yannick Weber from AHL's Utica Comets

VANCOUVER - Defenceman Yannick Weber was recalled to the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday from the team's minor-league affiliate.

The 25-year-old Weber has split the season between the Canucks and the American Hockey League's Utica Comets.

Weber has appeared in 10 NHL games this season with a minus-2 rating and no points.

The five-foot-11, 200-pound Weber has two goals and five assists in seven games with the Comets.

Weber has appeared in 125 NHL games over the course of his career, recording five goals and 27 assists with a minus-16 rating.
