Heavy fog cancels flights in and out of Kelowna airport

Fog has forced the cancellation of several flights in and out of Kelowna today, March 15, 2018.

KELOWNA – Several flights in and out of Kelowna have been cancelled this morning because of heavy fog.

Three flights scheduled to arrive from Alberta, Vancouver and Victoria are cancelled and three flights traveling to Prince George, Calgary, Edmonton and Seattle are either delayed or cancelled, according to the Kelowna International Airport website.

Environment Canada forecasts a mix of sun and cloud today with fog dissipating this morning. Clouds could increase tonight, when there is a 40 per cent chance of showers.

Tomorrow is expected to be cloudy with highs of 9 C and lows around 1 C.
