Hay spill causes traffic headache in Kamloops
A truck loaded with hay tipped over and dumped its load closing multiple lanes on a Kamloops road today.
A truck spilled its load late this morning, Nov. 28, blocking the road near the Valleyview interchange, according to an RCMP media release.
It's not clear what caused the incident, but it appears the driver was heading up the Highway 1 eastbound exit. The truck tipped over to its side just east of the underpass.
Traffic wasn't stalled for long, however, as Kamloops RCMP said the roadway was cleared around 12:30 p.m.
Police said there were no injuries reported.
