It's barbecue season and that might just make social isolation orders that much more palatable.
But where's the meat? We've created a handy list of local butchers and suppliers that will deliver right to your front door. Not only will you be supporting local business, you can have a fresh steak sizzling on your barbecue without having to leave your house.

T-Bone's, Kelowna
T-Bone's in Kelowna is the first of their Okanagan locations to deliver, and you can order anything from their store online.
They are currently delivering on Thursdays and Saturdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. anywhere within Kelowna.
The minimum order amount for delivery service is $50.
Illichman's Meats, Sausages and Gourmet Foods, Kelowna
Illichman's is a family run business that has been operating in Kelowna since 1967. They specialize in traditional European-style meats.
To order call 250-860-6604 and ask staff what products have available, as there is not a full menu available online. If you already know what cuts you want, email Illichman's with your order. They deliver within Kelowna and West Kelowna.
Johnny's Meats, Kelowna
Johnny's Meats is a family butcher shop that has been serving Kelowna since 2003. To order meat, call the store at 250-860-5646 or message Johnny's through Instagram or Facebook.
They also offer elk and buffalo meat, and will deliver any other products sold in store.
Johnny's delivers to Kelowna and West Kelowna within city limits, any time after 2:30 p.m.
The Five Points Quality Meats, Kelowna
The Five Points Quality Meats, previously known as County Cutters Quality Meat Processing, is a family owned butcher shop specializing in custom orders. To order for delivery, call 250-862-3098.
Delivery is usually reserved for orders of $100 or more, but Five Points will make exceptions for seniors and those in isolation on a case by case basis. Deliveries are currently done in the evening after 4:30 p.m.
Butcher Boys, Vernon
Butcher Boys have been serving the community of Vernon for over forty years. To order, set up an account on their website.
They also deliver groceries, including cereals, fresh produce and ice cream.
Butcher Boys delivers to all of Vernon and the surrounding area including the BX and Coldstream.
Grillers Meats, Vernon
Grillers Meats is a family operated butcher shop providing locally raised, hormone and antibiotic free meats.
To place an order for delivery, call (250) 549-3100. Orders must be total $60 minimum to qualify for home delivery.
Sterling Springs Chicken, Kelowna & Vernon
Sterling Springs Chicken is a family run farm which offers medication-free and sustainably raised chicken, as well as local beef and sausages.
Orders for delivery must total $200 minimum, and products and prices are listed on their website. To order call 250-309-2317, email the farm or send them a Facebook message.
Sterling Springs Chicken delivers to Kelowna Saturday afternoons, and to Vernon Sunday afternoons.
Little Fork Ranch, Penticton
Little Fork Ranch is family farm which raises all natural grass fed lamb and beef, pastured pork and poultry. Order online and select delivery at checkout.
Little Fork delivers to Penticton and the surrounding area every two weeks. The next two delivery dates are May 16 and 30.
Caspian Acres, Kamloops
Caspian Acres is a regenerative farm focused on sustainability and traditional farming practices. You can order your meat on their website.
They also offer honey and duck eggs based on availability.
Delivery days are Tuesdays and Fridays and delivery is currently free for customers within Kamloops.
Spruce Goose & Chop N Block, Kamloops
Spruce Goose & Chop N Block is a local butcher shop and deli located in Kamloops.
For information on their available products call 250-828-8616, then fill out an ordering form on their website.
Deliveries are made within city limits between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Orders for same day delivery must be placed before 10 a.m.
Any orders placed after 10 a.m. will be delivered the following day between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Valley Direct Foods, Thompson-Okanagan
Valley Direct Foods delivers locally sourced products across the Okanagan and beyond. They also offer delivery of fresh produce, cheese and staple grocery items.
To order, visit their website and select your desired products.
They deliver to Kamloops Wednesdays and Fridays, Kelowna/Lake-Country Monday to Friday, Penticton on Tuesdays and Vernon Monday to Friday.
truLOCAL, Thompson-Okanagan
truLOCAL delivers anywhere in B.C., and all their meat is sourced within the province. Some local suppliers include Farmcrest Foods in Salmon Arm, Cache Creek Natural Beef and Ogopogo Meats and Sausages in Summerland.
You can order meat boxes on a recurring plan every 2 weeks, 3 weeks, monthly or every 6 weeks.
