The GolfBC Championship, a Mackenzie Tour PGA TOUR Canada event, is making a call to golf enthusiasts throughout the Okanagan Valley to actively participate in the presentation of the GolfBC Championship coming to Gallagher’s Canyon Golf & Country Club June 12 to June 18.

The event is looking for 300 volunteers. No experience is necessary. Open to men and women who want to experience working at a professional golf tournament.

There are a number of opportunities, but in particular there is a need for Course Marshalls and Walking Scorers.

Volunteers will receive a commemorative golf shirt and cap, lunch while on shift, and special volunteer events including an Appreciation BBQ.

Gerry Fraser of the Fraser Partridge Group at Remax Kelowna is the proud sponsor of all volunteer special events.

Those wishing to volunteer should go to golfbcchampionship.com and apply no later than May 15 while opportunities last.

For those looking to really get up close with the rising stars of the golf world, caddying for a Mackenzie Tour Pro is the job for you.

This will be of particular interest to enthusiastic Okanagan golfers, especially young golfers, looking to pick up valuable golf tips while watching how the pros play the game.

Caddies get a chance to get to know the Pros as they move their way up to the highest levels of golf, possibly the PGA TOUR.

Caddies receive a minimal payment from the Pros.

This is a chance of a lifetime and its right here at Gallagher’s Canyon.

Opportunities are limited so apply now at golfbcchampionship.com.
