Get your own stolen stuff back for Christmas

Items recovered by the Kelowna RCMP.

KELOWNA - Maybe you can get your own stuff back for Christmas.

Kelowna RCMP are trying to return property they recovered from a person they allege stole it in Rutland after the suspect was observed prowling and checking parked cars.

Police recovered a Samsung tablet with wireless keyboard, a cordless Dewalt circular saw and drill along with batteries.

The batteries have initials written on them with black felt pen.

The tablet is password protected and whoever stole it was unable to access the computer, police said.

RCMP spokesman Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said in a press release that anyone who can prove they own the tools and laptop can recover the stolen items by calling Const. Corey Rempel at 250-762-3300.
