After steadily dropping by 17 cents per litre since mid-June, Kelowna gas prices had a major correction over the weekend, jumping back to where they had been on June 12 at $1.79.9.

Prices in Kamloops, Penticton and Vernon showed less dramatic increases.

Some Kelowna stations had crept up to $1.77.9 on Friday but they are almost all up to $1.79.9 now, except for Costco which is at $1.73.9.

Kamloops prices were at $1.65.9 to $1.67.9 per litre last week. Some stations are showing on Gasbuddy.com at $1.75.9 today, July 31. Costco in Kamloops is at $1.63.9.

Penticton prices climbed six cents a litre to $1.75.9 over the weekend.

Some stations in Vernon have remained at the $1.69.9, where they were last week, but some are showing prices as high as $1.78.9.
