KELOWNA – This year’s ‘Jour du Macaron’ will be twice the fun - these colourful confectionaries will be celebrated not for one day, but for two!
This sweet day has been a hit all around the globe and thanks to Sandrine French Pastry and Chocolate, it was brought to Kelowna in 2012.
Join in on Thursday, March 20th and Friday, March 21st and sample some macarons. 25% of all macaron sales for the two days will be donated to the KGH Foundation’s Be a Lifesaver Campaign.
Be a Lifesaver’s mission is to ensure the Interior Heart & Surgical Centre (IHSC) at KGH opens fully outfitted with the critical state-of-the-art equipment and support it needs to improve and save lives.
The last two years have been a great success. We hope you’ll come out and participate again this year – after all, what better way to support health care in our community than by eating sweets??
